The Big Lift

As a senior in High School, I have realized that it truly hasn’t been as easy as people say. The certain classes you have to take to get to where you want to be in the future is the number one reason why classes aren’t as easy as people say. Now that the Senior Project is done and out of the way, I now have the power to focus on my grades and future. School is over in a few more weeks and when I look back at the 12 years of schooling I wonder where the time has gone. For the next 4 years I will be focusing on the type of job I want and where I am going to live for the rest of my life. It’s scary to think beyond the place called HOME.

Graduation

Graduation is just a few more months away. While looking at the past we realize time goes bye so fast. When I wake up in the morning to get ready for school I see that this isn’t going to be like the last 12 years of schooling any more. College is right around the corner and for the next 4 years i’m going to be in Florida majoring in Special Education and English and minoring in Graphic design. I feel as if i have to make a difference in my life, by helping other people, understanding what other people are going through even if I didn’t ever go through the hard times as the other people. Senior Ball the last dance of high school.

Poetry is Considered Art

After my father died in 2003, I learned to over come my difficulties by writting my pain on paper. Instead of my expressing it aloud I would just write it down in poetry form. Poetry is considered art in my opinion because the way forming the stanzas is just as if you are forming it into a work of art on to a canvas or on the computer. My favorite poem and favorite to many is called Dreams and Nightmares

Dreams and Nightmares

A dream

Is full of unexpected visitor’s

The way you fall into a bunch of clouds

That then turn into burning flames of fire

You wake up screaming, or even crying from this

Nightmare

Love is found in a dream

You cry for whom that you love; you may even talk to that one

Dreams are not ment to remember

But for you I have

You talked to me like you were in front of me

Then you said you loved me and missed me

For me that was a nightmare

I can’t see your face with out crying

You make my heart want to fly in joy and happiness

But for me I rather you just stay in my

Dreams

And

Graphic Design

Over the 4 years of high school I learned the different mediums of art. By being in Studio art, drawing and painting, advanced drawing and painting, portfolio, and now Graphic Design has showed me what my strengths are and my weaknesses are. Over all my 2 favorite classes would have been Graphic Design and portfolio.
